Inchworm

My Dear Princess and Dear Fellow,

When I was really little - I think about five - my very favouritest movie was "Hans Christian Anderson" starring Danny Kaye.

I don't know why I loved it so much. And tv being what it was back in the day, I don't know how often I got to see it. Every Xmas maybe.

I haven't seen it for years, but I still remember the songs, "Thumbelina", "Copenhagen" and that sad little song about the inchworm.

Caro took this picture of a monarch butterfly caterpillar today. She was delighted to see them in her garden. She loves monarchs.

And on a day where I was very busy with work, I couldn't help but think about the inchworm.
