Dry Squid Flapping in the Wind

And you thought clothes pins were for drying laundry!

This squid was drying on a line outside of the restaurant where we ate tasty grilled chicken and papaya salad. Most of my Thai friends like dried squid. It is often rolled thin through what looks like a pasta-maker and toasted over hot coals right before it is cut into thin strips and served. I've eaten it before, but it's never been my first choice. Makes for an interesting picture though. :)
