Precious Pines

Went to a photography club for the first time lastnight, along with Hamp5on - as the guests of a guy from our church who'd seen me around with my camera (not an unusual occurence, I may add). The talk was about infra-red photography - and most of it was like listening to a foreign language.

But then we divided into interest groups - we went to the street photography one. Which inspired me to go out today and try my hand... found out I need a LOT more courage and skill - will keep trying, though.

Best I could do was this hefty fence and gate on South Parade - guarding, as far as I can see, two pine trees. My "street photography" is the lad in the far distance struggling with the chain on his bike.
