Low reservoir

The reservoir is deliberately kept low at this time of the year as a flood precaution during the winter months. Heavy rain will soon fill it up and hopefully stop flooding in the valley below but we have had little rain so far. Today's walk took us above Rodes to the ruined chapel of Saint Feliu. It was a relatively gentle walk up onto the plateau, 10 kilometres and 350 metres of climbing. The temperature only got up to about 13 degrees but in the sunshine it felt quite pleasant. There were only eight of us today which meant that we were not constantly waiting for stragglers.
