Wednesday...

What a stunning day - haw frost making everything sparkle but very cold indeed! Work first thing & then some time in lieu & so I went looking for kingfishers. Their big pond is still frozen & so they are hanging out on the smaller pond. This means I can keep warm in my car and wait.

I watched this one fishing for over an hour. It caught many fish but didn't come that close. Just lovely to watch though. 

I really like the blueish container background - sets off kingy very nicely.
