Sad?

OH played golf but got a bit wet and cold.
No.1 and I had a trip to the fabric shop to get some backing material for her quilt.  The lady in the shop is very knowledgable but was a bit reluctant to impart her knowledge and kept mentioning the courses they run!?  We did pick up a few tips and I think it will be a case of getting better as time goes on?

We walked past a lovely gift shop and gallery which has been in the High Street for years and was sad to see it was closing in January.  Also sad to see the festive snowman padlocked up against theft.

Home for soup and to do a bit of sewing - much easier this time with the new backing that we bought.

Festive film (which I mostly slept through) completed the day.
