Hampden, Glasgow

We all made it back home to Edinburgh just after midnight - so, this is only a really minor  blip-cheat ;-)

... thus; here's a quick shot of the teams (Scotland & England) lining-up for the National Anthems, prior to the start of the game. It really was wonderful to watch - and I couldn't lose, being half-Scottish and half-English! - with the England team very clinically taking Scotland apart. They looked so impressive.

But - there was still heartbreak for them, as even winning 6-0 wasn't enough to top their Group! That defeat against Belgium some months ago has proved extremely costly :-(

Anyhow, was still a most enjoyable evening, and great to see the top England stars playing at their best.
