Light and shade…..

The view looking towards the sun which was hiding behind the two mighty poplar trees. The tiny patch of water is what could be seen of Doctors Creek as it nears the confluence with the Taylor River. Maisie and I walked very early to get a head start on the day. I photographed this scene near the end of our walk…. Looking back from whence we had come. It became very warm later in the morning….. and muggy. 28C in the porch in the shade. I spent several hours gardening, chasing the shade and I had the irrigation running in both the western and eastern c areas of the garden. Please God, send some rain.
