Baubles and Bats

I was determined to have a gym and swim day today, so after Mr P set off for his stint at the Foodbank, I made my way up to the Hydro. It didn’t go quite as I’d planned as there was a bat flying about in the pool area (as some of you know I’m terrified of them). Luckily it was dormant while I was swimming but I was rather anxious throughout. Home via the shops to prepare for Book Group (I was hosting tonight) and to make banana and walnut bread. Our book was Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus, so needless to say we all enjoyed it.
