Chugach Mountains

I have been lucky this last week. Good sun. Good scenes. Time off.

Today is Mother's Day so no travel. Did get a few moments out of the house on a shopping trip. It is now densely cloudy and dark. Quite a change from the last few days.

The Chugach Mountains are east of Anchorage. The middle peak is Wolverine Peak, about 4,455 feet. Since Anchorage is at near sea level, the Chugach Mountains seem to be good size. The peak to the right of Wolverine is Flattop, about 3,510 feet.

An Anchorage playground is in the valley between the two peaks. That's where the cloud dance photo was taken.
