Christmas tree

Visited a National Trust house today, Scotney Castle, which had decorated their house for Christmas in the style of 1967. There were six enormous Christmas trees, all beautifully decorated - made me feel quite Christmassy!

I met up with a friend there who has recently moved down to Kent, and I’m staying the night with her before travelling back home in the morning. It’s lovely to catch up properly with her as I hadn’t seen her since she moved away. She’s now living in a grade 2 listed building in a little village. It’s lovely and cozy and they’ve settled in very well, but there’s lots that needs doing with the house and it’s more than I’d want to take on. I’m enjoying my stay though.
