What's in a name?
Mars Bar to the first person who identify's the above quote..
Nah, too easy really!
This is the new inhabitant of my house. K has been wanting a second dog for ever (though Hazel is perhaps not quite so keen). And here he is. He's a rescue pup from Spain and arrived at 5.30 on Sunday morning. He is supposed to be about two, but that's a guess. And what a wisky-frisky little guy he is. Full of energy and good temper, he dances around on his hind legs (not a good habit, especially in the kitchen) and races round the house.
But his name. You'll like this. K was mad to call him 'Bramble' which I have to say I thought a tough, spikey kind of name for such a delicate little person. His Spanish name was Zarza. Almost unbelievably 'Zarza' translates into English as 'Bramble'. Complete serendipity and clearly the name he was destined to have.
Enjoy your evening xx
