Annual Downtown Holiday Parade

The snow didn't accumulate, but it was fun to see it whirling around the truck as it moved slowly down the street. There were bubbles too, and costumed dogs. Kids on stilts, unicyclists, marching bands, roller skaters, classic cars, gymnasts, the cast of the local Nutcracker, and, lastly, a beaming Santa on a fire truck. It was a lively couple of hours downtown, and a giddy start to the frantic season.
