Mum's star

This Christmas Tree in Fareham is sponsored by the local funeral directors who conducted mum's arrangements back in August. It's placed outside the Town's museum. The tree is covered with star decorations, each bearing the name of a person who has passed this year. There is a carol service there on Friday but sadly, I'm unable to attend. My friend S will be attending as she lost her partner earlier in the year, and she will collect mum's star for me so I can put it on my own tree.
Such a poignant way to remember everyone.
