Bach

Our friends invited us to join them at Queen Elizabeth Hall at the South Bank Centre for a performance of Bach’s Christmas Oratorio.
Not usually our thing but we really enjoyed it and appreciated the English translation provided above the stage.
Bach was clearly a Christian man who understood why Jesus came from heaven to be our Saviour and Redeemer.

Our friends also invited another friend to join us - Tom, a Chelsea Pensioner. A delight to meet him, share a picnic tea (smoked salmon sandwiches) and hear some of his stories.
Fully dressed in his distinctive red uniform, he received excellent care from the staff who provided wheelchair access for him.
