Snow clouds over Catbells

I've been contacted by many friends asking how we're coping with the heavy snowfalls in the Lakes, and enquiring if we've been snowed in. In truth, the heavy snow has all fallen to the south of Dunmail Raise, over Grasmere and Windermere. We have a light sprinkling.

Huge temptation to venture to the snowy areas, but in the knowledge that we'd never reach there, we stayed local. A shame, as we were planning to meet up with Debs Brother for a meal in Ambleside this evening.

However, storm clouds building over Catbells at Sunset were pretty impressive.
