Busy again

I spent the morning doing some long overdue housework and managed to tick a few things off my Reminders list, which was rather satisfying.  MrMacD baked two loaves of sourdough bread, each with a different flour, and it was interesting to see the difference in the two loaves after they were baked.

After lunch we walked to Mitre10 to get a couple of keys cut and for MrMacD to buy some bits and pieces to set up an irrigation system in the greenhouse.  We’re going up to Auckland for a few days and don’t want the tomato plants to curl up their toes for lack of water while we’re away.

We walked through the Oamaru Public Gardens on our way to Mitre10 and exited through the side gates on either side of this “main” gate near the Chinese Garden.
