Christmas Market No 1

I was feeling like a cold was trying to get me over night with soe throat and a head ache - but luckily it was not getting any worse.
Got a text from David to meet at Conny's for a coffee at 1pm.
We managed a short walk over the flea market before heading to the café.
Conny was bubbly as always, the cake was amazing as always and we had a great time catching up with David.

When he had to go we had another look at this char we had seen and went home to measure our table and get a meter.
Unfortunately the chair was too high so we told the seller.
We then decided to start our tour the Christmas markets with the one at Schloß Charlottenburg.
We too the U7 to Charlottenburg and walked to the market,
It was really bitter cold.
We strolled over the beautiful market, found a very nice Winzer Glühwein, strolled a bit more, had another Glühwein and the obligatory Bratwurst!
We felt frozen and went into a Café (Kuchenzeit - highly recommended) to warm up and use the loo.
We had ginger, mint and lemon tea and admired their cakes.
I bought a cake to take home and the lovely girl gave me 2 more pieces to try.
I felt very special :)
We took the UBahn home, got some lemons at Kaiser's and dropped all in the flat before ending the day at Mokkabar with a carafe of wine, an Antipasti plate and chicken with gorgonzola sauce.

It was a fabulous day!

Blipping the market.
