Rock Choir on the Green
Not much green left on the Green tonight. It’s a muddy mess after the Christmas Market was held in heavy rain.
We went down to see the market this morning only to find it was this afternoon. It was wet then and still wet when we finally rolled up at about 5.30pm.
In between times we had a trip to Doreen’s care home to collect her phone and a book to take to the hospital. To our surprise, despite Doreen having covid the staff said she could have visitors. We were not expecting this.
Susan went to see her mum, setting up her phone for her. Doreen was pleased to see her but quickly became tired. Only time will tell if she recovers from the double whammy.
Then Chris in California tells me that he’s come down with a heavy cold, possibly from us, and gastric flu, probably from Madison.
