Anchorages like this don't come along every day.
We have been anchored here for two days now and Corfu town is lovely. An added bonus is an unsecured wifi signal from a nearby coffee shop means that we are able to upload and connect right here on the boat.
Madison is the farthest right of shot. We dragged anchor at a previous location no fewer than 3 times due to the anchorage being mostly weed and very deep. We have now invested in a 20kg anchor to replace our existing 10kg bruce and this seems to have done the trick. It is more for me to haul up, as we have no electric windlass but it is good exercise.
Madison is performing well and we have done loads of washing in our new anchorage with the sun doing a great job of drying everything.
I sanded and oiled the main companionway hatch today and it is too busy looking good. Might blip that when I have all the surround painted. Hopefully that might be tomorrow if the wind would just die down a bit.
