La Higuera...

...this is part of the little village of La Higuera (the fig tree) which is where our nearest shop, bar and post box are to be found. It's a lovely walk which takes about 20 minutes.

The clouds have been hanging around most of the day and it's been quite a bit cooler. We've worked on the land today, clearing and pruning, readying piles for bonfires. When the weather turns colder that'll be a welcome activity.  M is sanding down the outside wooden beams for revarnishing, all little jobs that need doing after the ravages of the hot summer sun.
