and the band played on

We visited the Oxford Botanical Gardens for their Christmas Fayre today.

An interesting garden and glasshouses full of different unusual plants. There were many retail opportunities but it rained and rained. Lots of folk turned up and in that British way, they viewed everything, queued patiently, brollies up, for a coffee. 

After a short time the band arrived and we were entertained to some lively music whilst the band tried to stay dry, and keep their sheet music dry. It was all good, a start to the pre Christmas activities.
