Mushrooms

One of the side effects of my chemotherapy was that mushroom started tasting really bad to me. Even porcini's ;-)

So I decided to give them another chance today. Some of them are quite subtle at the best of times (see extra) but I gave some of the more robust ones a good whack in the pan with some butter to amp up the flavour.

Sadly they taste of nothing to me. 

That's better than tasting bad.

So I can only hope we are heading in the right direction.
