Greater Spotted Woodpecker

This male Woody negotiated the cage which encloses our bird feeders. The cage is a bit industrial but it keeps the pigeons,  and crows etc., from stealing all the food.
I took a few shots, all through the windows as I didn't want to scare him away. He eventually flew into he school apple trees, as per the extra.
