Perth Christmas lights switch on

Picked up Ben around 10 am to join us for the Tabou breakfast. His mum and dad were meeting their friends and having their Christmas lunch in Deans. Ben was most annoyed he wasn’t invited!

We seemed to have avoided the snow here in Perth but oh the cold! I put on two pairs of leggings gs with my waterproof and windproof trousers on top, three jumpers and my padded coat .

Tabou was very busy and nice and cosy. We had a nice breakfast and good chat. Ben is obsessed with Slipknot and they are horrendous (in my eyes). This is one of the band members on his phone and he knows I don’t like the picture ;). We had a walk round the huts and stalls , popped into Waterstones and then got some stuff at the Farmers Market. I felt sorry for the stall holders standing in that cold.

Dropped Ben off as he had some drumming practice to do and maths homework. He was going down with his pals later to the switch on by Boney M and Ckeeko, we did plan to go but the thought of going back out in the cold was too much for my old bones so we boringly stayed in and got a few episodes of Bad Sisters which is brilliant and finished the Robbie Williams documentary (which was good, he’s a troubled soul, thrust into the limelight madness too young at 16. He probably wouldn’t be here now if he had t met his wife.
