Robin ( Erithacus rubecula )

Clickychick said today Robins in snow with Holly were popular at Christmas.  OK, there is no Holly but the light background is snow.  A quiet day punctuated by a visit to Birds'Bistro for bird food, a doctor's appointment for CC, and a little shopping.

Robins move around more than you might think, ringing recoveries have been from as far north as a line from Trondheim through Vaasa Finland.  They have been recovered as far south as north Africa and as far east as Poland.
