Frozen Derwent Water on our walk today

There was lots to see but not very thick snow. Apparently there is plenty of snow in the Ambleside area. The heron didn't move when we got nearer and nearer so I am afraid it could be injured. I hope it makes a full recovery. It had found quite a sheltered spot to rest.
