Have had a very inspiring afternoon at a celebration event to mark 35-years of the truly marvelous Venture Scotland - such a welcome lift after a miserable few days, frankly ...

... anyhow; long-standing followers may remember that I ran the 2014 Edinburgh Marathon in aid of Venture Scotland - I was actually one of their founding volunteers way back in 1988 :-)

If you look at the programme in the snap closely, you may just spot a 1988-version of yours truly, actually sporting some hair! Even more amazing is the fact that the jacket I'm wearing back then, is remarkably still in use today ... I kid you not :-))
