The forecasts gave a 50% chance of snow after 10 am. The first snow shower was earlier, about 6 o’clock, with more following later. Late morning I thought the easiest option was to stick the camera out of the bedroom window and blip the trees. Pleased I didn’t post it.

After lunch (soup today) I decided to test the new boots in the snow. Took the phone with me (no big camera). Boots felt good so I continued downhill.

Interesting that when I looked at webcams around midday for Keswick and Kendal there was no snow there. It stopped while I was out but typing this at 3.45 pm there are massive snowflakes falling.
