Mill Road Winter Fair

Once a year Cambridge's most interesting and eclectic street is closed to traffic for a huge winter fair. All the restaurants and cafes set up on the pavement and serve food, coffee, mulled wine and the like to thousands upon thousands of visitors. The cold weather and mist didn't seem to affect the size of the crowds at all, the place was absolutely heaving. The biggest problem was deciding which stall to buy lunch from – I was sorely tempted by the noodles at this stall, but ended up going for a falafel and aubergine wrap, which was gorgeous :)
