Bix Bottom
A chilly minus 3 when the spaniel and I set off in the mist for our morning walk. Fortunately it lifted, for a while, just when we got to the high point I had planned to take my photograph from. When we set out we were unaware that part of our walking route would coincide with a 22 km trail running course (Maverick races). With hundreds of runners heading towards us along a very narrow woodland path we had no option but to abandon the path and go off piste to avoid them. Last time they had one of these here the path was left unusable for months.
