Prague
One of the ''must see sights'' in Prague is the Charles Bridge which was apparently first built in 1357 so we decided to pay a visit today. As you can see from my blip everyone else in Prague had the same idea. Despite the crowds it was well worth the visit and the statues lining the bridge are very impressive.
We decided then to do a 1 hour river cruise and after a fairly long walk to the jetty we found that the cruises haven't happened since the floods about 3 weeks ago! Still there was a very nice restaurant by the river where beer helped the disappointment. Ali then insisted we visit the Prague Museum and after another long walk across the city we found that the Museum was being refurbished and was closed for 3 - 4 months. Joy!! Must do our homework next time.
But we are in Prague and making the most of it despite the temperature being in the mid 30s.
A good day really which was finished off with a chicken salad and white wine in Alis' brothers garden.
