Starting over

Have I been Americanised? Not enough to use a z in -ized obviously but shouldn't it be starting again? English was never my best subject but it came in useful for catching up on sleep.

Much like today really. Some gentle domesticity accompanied by Glee while K has been out. Catching up on blip too with the weekend finally back blipped.

My early night hasn't quite materialised but I can spare half an hour to restart this book. It's been so long since I read any of it that I really do need to start again at the very beginning. Which, as a wise woman once pointed out, is a very good place to start.

My neighbours obviously were worried I must be missing the Radio 4 nighttime ritual while K's away (not!) and they've just put it on loud enough that I can listen to it through the wall. Joy!

Oh and K's just rang to say that once Neil Young finished his more modern stuff and got onto the old folky stuff, he realised quite how much he didn't like Neil Young so he'll be home earlier than expected. Good job it was a freebie.

And now my early night has well and truly evaporated. Why did I volunteer to work on Tuesday this week?!
