Earlybirds

South London. 6.48am. Long, long trains, lots of passengers. While waiting in the cold, I pondered the intricate metalwork on the station canopy (more of it in extras).

Destination Gatwick for 9am flight. The sun streamed into the plane when we broke cloud cover. I was met with blue sky in Jersey but still cold!

Worked from home rest of day. Daughter J dropped in for dinner. Nice to be home before the weekend.
