Something cosmic and epic today

A friend has an aurora app and she has been sending me alerts. It takes a lot to get me to venture outside when it's dark and -5C, but she convinced me that my fuzzy picture taken from inside the spare bedroom showed sufficient signs of aurora to make it worth while grabbing a tripod, wrapping up warm and braving the temperatures.
I'm lucky to live in a dark skies area - shame the moon is very bright tonight thought!
