You Never Learn

Bit of a mixed day, odds and ends around the house in the morning before dropping Mrs S at a well known coffee shop for some mentoring with a colleague. I headed to the DIY superstore for some bits and pieces in clouding a tarpaulin to cover tomorrow’s delivery of logs.
Arriving back at the coffee shop to collect Mrs S I could see they were nowhere near finished so I settled down with a coffee. The upshot, we were late arriving home so Sam could get away, not happy doesn’t come near as a description.

I escaped in the evening to the RNA meeting, a quiz, a chat and all done within a couple of hours. Following our meeting I sat at the bar with some fellow Athenaeum Club members, most of whom were also in the Navy, and drank more beer than I should have with rowing session tomorrow.
