Once Bitten, Twice Shy

I forgot to tell you all. 

Since April, we have been waiting for Himself's work, to tell us who was getting Early Retirement in the next round of "restructuring".

It was to be December, but on Monday, an email came out to say that Emails would be delivered on Wednesday. 

HIMSELF GOT IT!!!! 

Sadly he has to wait til March before he has the joy of no early rises and the usual shite every day.   

Today, he practised.   He dropped me at work, had a hair cut, and stopped to look at the sea. 

There was a massive bank of fog sitting off the coast, and he parked up and got out and photo;d; it for me.  -  Look at Goatfell peeking over the top

The kids were all very excited.   "Dad is practising retirement".  

You know what?  I think he was.
