A Chance Meeting

And so we are off... first day if our holidays saw us drive from home in Glasgow to York. We called in en route at an old RAF friend who lives just off the A66 before carrying on south to our first night stop at a Premier Inn on the south side of York. It was great to wander around York remembering different things and places ( I spent a year living on the north side of York 92-93 when I was at RAF Linton-on-Ouse). As we passed Betty's Tearoom we spotted some frantic waving from inside! And so we jioned more old RAF friends who just happened to be on holiday too. It has been about 10 years since we last saw them!!! A grand day out! PS Betty's tearoom is an old haunt of mine from my time living here!
