Independence Day

Today Iceland is 69 years old. We did not participate much in the festivities, instead we visited Reykhólar where these tractors from 1945 and upwards were displayed. Not only are they all working but the owner kindly offered us to try driving them. He said he even lets kids drive them on the meadow if they want to. I thought that was absolutely wonderful.

On the way back to Reykjavík we finally found the waterfall Glanni, which is in Borgarfjörður. It was quite nice, but after having seen Dynjandi most fall short...
