Cockermouth Youth Hostel

Some of you may have stayed at Cockermouth Youth Hostel in the past...

Sadly it closed about 5 years ago, and is now a private dwelling.

We passed by today on our walk which followed The River Cocker towards Lorton...

Everywhere is still very, very frosty...unless, like The Old Youth Hostel, it has been in the full sun all day long.
