Sunset over Hoy

The pimple, on the horizon, is Morven – the highest point in Caithness.  Sixty three miles away from Creel HQ.  We see it about half a dozen times a year.  I couldn’t pick out Creel HQ when last on top of Morven.

A superb day, slightly frosty, flat calm.  The Current Mrs caught the ferry to Hoy for a meeting at the Hoy Kirk.  Hopefully some funding will be the outcome.  Meanwhile I stayed at base and did more digging and a skilled person (AB) came along and repaired the leak.  I had fun backfilling a lot of mud.  It’s not an old man’s game.  Instead think of considering floodlit Piquet.  I will go and along and see Dougal the morn to give him his birthday card.

Tonight, there are house-guests, from Garson, at Creel HQ as there is a dancing party on in Kirkwall.

Just when you thought it was safe.
