Meager pickings this morning!
A very hard frost this morning and the Highland cows had to work hard to get even a mouthful of grass.
Just further along the path from the cows we came upon a group of the Pollok Estate employees trying their best to plant a beech hedge along the edge of the old cricket ground. A spade was no use so a pick axe was the tool of choice to break up the soil.
While enjoying a warming cuppa in the Burrell I met a former member of staff I hadn't seen for 15 years. I had taught both her children in when they were in P5 and when she told me that Ross was now 30 I felt really old!
