Early sun……

…….sneaking through the clouds to side-light the cabbage tree. This morning near the Beaver Road footbridge.
A quiet day at home. I felt a little poorly so laid low. However I did manage to rescue a juvenile green finch which had been caught by naughty Bryan the Birman. I nursed it out of shock and put it in a really safe place. Hopefully it will survive. I love the calls of green finches…. The first sign of spring each year.
