B.A.C.K. to Basics

Surgery Day

BJ has suffered for years with a deviated septum and a growing nasal polyp. This last PCP visit confirmed it may be time to consider surgery. Follow ups with surgeons led us to today. He was nervous but ready to breathe without interference.

Surgery took about an hour. All went according to plan. Dr. Wilson removed a “large olive” sized polyp and repaired the deviated septum. One week until the splints can be removed.

This will be a tough few days recovery, then an even longer couple of weeks until healed enough to go back to normal activity. He’s a tough guy though and will overcome this challenge.
