A Resolution achieved.

This was actually a New Year’s Resolution. Get your eyes tested, (overdue)…. and get new glasses. Today I collected my new prescription sunglasses and safety glasses; I collected my day-to-day ones last week - I’m getting used to them now. Further eye test 12 months for me nowadays. All I need is some sun for the former pair….and some gardening tasks for the latter - which won’t be hard to seek out if I just go outdoors here!

We’d a walk in the park after the opticians, below freezing again.

Younger son came after work to do a brief job for me. Didn’t take long and he never got as far as coming into the house, we met up in the garage and his mother came for a chat. Social dance has started at school for the Christmas parties in last week of term. It’s a busy time for teachers.

I was at the doctor’s surgery this morning. First appointment; in before 8am. Home for porridge after 830am.
