cool

I'm seeing lots of frosty photos on Blip just now, and here is mine. Jess and I took a different route through the forest today, following the suggestion of Karen at work. We walked up the track above the farm (cows are all in the sheds for the winter so the fields are empty) and past a lovely little deciduous wood through which the Bride's Burn flows. Then up to Loweberry Loch and finally upwards through the conifers to this wee loch which has no name on the OS map. It was partially frozen and the trees around it all covered in a frosty rime. A quiet and peaceful place. We retraced our steps to come down into the sunny valley.

I've done some more housework this afternoon and I'll soon be going out to choir practice :-)
