The New New Extension...

I had a bit of skateboard related second half of the day today. Popped through to Livi for a meeting around the issues they're having with the build of what is now the new new extension. I didn't fully appreciate that the company that are on the letter head as building the skatepark are not actually the people that are building it. I now know what sub contracting is.

Livi, unfortunately has gotten the slightly stiffed with this whole sub-contracting and although the design is quite good and gnarley befitting of Livi, the execution is somewhat flawed.

What followed was a rather heated chat through a rather long list of 'issues'.

After technical discussions in Livi were dealt through it was through to Edinburgh for a wee SkateboardScotland Board meeting followed by the Scottish Premiere of Waiting for Lightning, a docuFilm about Danny Way's career.
