New arrivals

We have 8 new baby Rays which have emerged from their egg cases (Mermaid's Purses) over the last week. They can take anything from 3 - 9 months to develop in the egg case. They spend a lot of time resting on the bottom of the tank buried in the sand with only their long tails partly visible, like the one in the background on the left, but this youngster decided to investigate his surroundings.
