Non pupil day Norfolk

Out of Chelmsford by 9.30. Good going family K. Lunch in our Happy Place before heading into Wells. The wind was whipping down Staithe street so the lovely shops proved a welcome haven. The boys had seen enough and found enjoyment in the arcades! I enjoyed choosing individual Christmas  presents and met up with MrK & FK at Bang for hot tea. It's still the same decor, but new owners I think. There were no hot water bottles or games, not as rustic. A bit more refined and No Cake!! However, a welcome respite from the wind. Back down at the front, the tide still had an hour to be at its highest. The water was already coming over the wall and running so fast. I'm not sure Father Christmas will be able to arrive by boat tomorrow as is usual for the Christmas Tide festival. I got chatting to a chap also taking photos who had recently moved up to Wells from...Chelmsford.  the world gets smaller every day.
