Delivery

Glad to take delivery of a load of logs this morning as the remaining pile was low and the weather has just got decidedly colder. 

It was fascinating to watch the delivery driver remotely working the machinery that lifted and lowered the heavy bag in the correct place.

I had a lovely visit to Christina's for coffee and mince pies along with friend Anne whom I hadn't seen since the summer, then Minty and I enjoyed our walk in the afternoon sunshine even though the frost was still evident in places.

The fire is now burning brightly and three snoozing pets are enjoying its warmth. So am I.
